Imbue your bedroom walls with a gorgeous Bohemian blush by applying a duo of soft pinks in a soft-edged, tonal paint technique.
You will need:
– Plascon Cashmere in Petite and Perfect (O4-B2-2) and Morning Clay (R7-C2-1)
– Sponge
– Medium paintbrush
– Piece of rectangular plastic, like a Tupperware or ice cream container lid
STEP 1:
Paint the wall with two coats of Petite and Perfect, allowing it to dry between coats.
STEP 2:
Combine 1 part Petite and Perfect and 1 part Morning Clay, put some of the paint mix onto the edge of the plastic lid.
STEP 3:
Apply to the top of the wall, then work the piece of plastic in a downward motion, fading out the texture halfway down the wall.
STEP 4:
While the paint is still wet, apply Morning Clay in the same method, working mainly along the top of the wall to create a fading effect.
STEP 5:
Soften the edges of the textured paint effect by dabbing with a sponge until the colours are blurred into one another.
